We have been very impressed with the work Campo Construction have completed on our house in Martos. Really friendly personalised service from Andy and Antonio with helpful suggestions and advice on things we had no experience of and kept our wishes as the focus of the process. They went the extra mile for us and work was done to a high quality and all mess cleared up from site. We were very comfortable leaving our house keys with Andy to complete additional work after we returned to England. Communication with Andy was excellent when back in UK when we needed to amend the additional work and we were thrilled when we saw photos of the completed job and looked even better seen for ourselves. Really good value for money too, would use again without hesitation and plan to in the near future.

We have needed to have some work done on our house in Alcaudete for a number of years now but have had trouble finding a reputable builder we felt we could trust. Last year Campo Construction were recommended to us and after our initial meeting with Andy and Antonio as a couple with experience in the construction industry in the UK, we were left feeling reassured and confident in their ability to deliver what we felt to be a complex project. We visited Spain this year to see the finished Terrace and reconstruction work and were very pleased with the results, an attractive Terrace with all work completed to a high standard. This was in fact the first time we have had building work carried out by a third party and not felt let down at every turn and been disappointed with the results. It is with delight I wish to write a few lines of praise and recommendation of a local Building company Campo construction. Andy Heston and his team have been magnificent recently in restoring and renovating my recent purchase of a very old Cortijo in Andalucía. I was wary of employing a builder in my absence as my wife and I had to return to the UK after the purchase to finish off other business however I need not have worried. The work was completed on time and within budget and I was emailed regular updates with photographs throughout the process which eased our worries and concerns. The whole team worked so hard and were professional and pleasant throughout and I cannot recommend Campo construction and Andy Heston highly enough, Good job boys thanks again, we are truely delighted!

I bought my Martos town house in spring 2011 and engaged Campo Construction to undertake the renovation I needed a builder I could trust to manage the project knowing I would not be able to get out to Spain very often. Andy Heston the company director has proved to be that builder. Before I engaged him he insisted on showing me around several of his current projects which were impressive both in quality and organisation and he helped enormously when it came to making decisions about what did and didn't need doing to my house. As things turned out it was nearly 3 years before I was able to return to Spain to check on progress, but in the meantime I had been in constant communication with Andy who involved me in every stage of the works. My budget was very limited and I had to mothball the project several times, but this was not a problem for Campo Construction they simply picked up and left off works as necessary with no pressure. During the project I was constantly being told I was an idiot to put my trust in builders and not regularly fly out to check on progress, but I never had any doubts that what they said they were doing had been done. when I finally went over this summer it was to find my faith had been justified and they had done everything on my list to a great standard. Apart from my belief in Campo Construction as a trustworthy organisation one of the things I found particularly reassuring during the course of the renovation is that they would never make a move without obtaining the proper authority from the local town hall, even to the extent of asking permission to block off the road during the reroof for pedestrian safety. Whilst I was in Spain this summer Andy asked me what I intended to do about furniture and suggested Ikea in Malaga as being the cheapest option, when I explained I only had a small hire car which would not accommodate beds and sofas etc. he arranged with one of his employees to drive me in their van to Malaga where we picked up all my large items at a great price, if this is not going the extra mile I don't know what is Campo Construction are a professional, hard working and very client centred company who will deliver what you want at very reasonable rates, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Thank you Andy and the team for a great job well done. I had been hoping to use a local Spanish builder, but having being messed about a couple of times, I got three companies in to quote, and as soon as I met Andy I felt confident that he was the guy for the job. He was a pleasure to do business with, and it was great that he worked with a couple of Spanish guys, one of whom knew my neighbour! Their quote was very competitive and the work was fitted in at very short notice, and started and finished when they said it would be. Andy even sorted out a problem with my water pressure without being asked, and wouldn't accept any payment for doing so, which was much appreciated. He is a lovely, genuine guy, and I didn't think twice about giving him the key to my property, and leaving him to get on with the job while I was away. Even though I hadn't planned to do any more work, his rates were so competitive that I have asked him to quote for replacing some windows before too long, and I've already recommend him to one of my friends.

After recently engaging Campo Construction to replace the roof over the summer cooking area and also to inspect and repair a number of tiles on the roof of our countryhouse in Ermita Nueva, close to Alcala la Real in Jaen Province, Andalucia, plus various other smaller items of work. So often we do not take the time to express our thanks and gratitude for a service well done only quick to put pen to paper when making a complaint. I however feel compelled to take a few moments to write a few words to express my delight and offer my thanks to Andy Heston and his magnificent team at Campo Construction. I employed the services of this highly skilled and professional company recently to undertake some quite major renovation work in an old Cortijo my partner and I had purchased last year. I took an instant liking to Andy for his honest and humorous approach and felt secure knowing that I had employed a company that was legally registered in Spain and employed local Spanish people. The work was completed on time and on budget to an exceptionally high standard and included some additional free extras which we are delighted with. The team were professional and courteous at all times and for one week we were not at the property however I was updated daily by Andy and photographs of the progress were sent. We were also delighted that at the end of the works which were quite extensive at no extra cost to ourselves Andy brought in his cleaning team not a spot of dust was left! I cannot praise Campo Construction or Andy Heston enough and would highly recommend them and I am willing for anyone wishing to contact me direct to do so, good hardworking honest and legal businesses should be celebrated and shared.

We had initially made the mistake of employing cowboys who actually turned out to be illegal workers with no clue or idea as to what they were doing and did no more than take money and make a mess! I had read so many horror stories whilst researching purchasing in Spain and about the number of rogue builders that operate there yet was foolish enough to fall for the patter of a chap who lead me to believe he was fully legal fully insured and competent none of which we discovered later at our cost! It is a pleasure for my partner and I to provide a testimonial for Andy Heston and the rest of his team at Campo Construction. We wanted a builder to render the outside of our house ( over 100m2) plus other minor works, Campo Construction provided a first class service at very affordable rates. Andy is honest, trustworthy, and has a great sense of humour that really helps the job along. The men he has on his team are of the same calibre and do precise, beautiful work. Like all building works, things did not always go smoothly with rain causing delays and major structural cracks threatening to turn our semi into a detached!! However, Andy and his team did an excellent job in resolving these problems at minimal extra cost, and has now given us peace of mind that the house is now in a much stronger structural state then when they arrived on site. In our opinion the work ethic of Campo Construction along with their easy going nature, ability to sort out any arising problems plus the way he treats people are the reasons he is much sought after in this area of Andalucia. All of our Spanish neighbours, walked past everyday offering their advice and guidance to Andy and his team, now the job is finished they are all saying how beautiful the end result is, to get praise from the locals is a very strong endorsement of the quality Andy and his team provided. When we bought our house in April 2006, the first thing we had to do was find a builder who was able to carry out the work we required. We chose Campo Construction run by Andy Heston for two main reasons, one was because their quotes were competitive and secondly we felt we would be able to communicate better, as we (like so many English) could not speak Spanish. We were able to view one of Campo Constructions current projects, so we could see the quality of their work. Whilst we outlined our requirements for the renovations, some of the ideas and finishing touches came from Andy himself. We were particularly impressed with what he did with the upstairs shower room, the upstairs window in the lounge and the design of the kitchen. Another brilliant finishing touch of Andy's was the bookcase in the lounge which was created from an old, small doorway into a roof space. Having seen the completed work we feel that Campo Construction did a great job. The standard of work was great and everything was done in a professional manner. We are so pleased with how it has all turned out and we would certainly have no hesitation in recommending Campo Construction to anyone requiring any building/renovation work and we will definitely be using their skills in the future for any other work that we may require.

We just wanted to thank you forr the excellent work you have undertaken at our house but where do we start. For arranging the electrician and doing the very heavy labour that comes from a total rewire of a three storey house (including you Andy crawling through that terribly small space and digging out the flint walls to prepare for the move of the meter); For arranging the move of the electric meter to comply with the new regulations. We know this was very complex due to the problems with the transfer of names from the old owner as you took the worry and stress out of this for us; For all the new plumbing including toilet, washbasin and shower in our newly tiled and converted bathroom; For our lovely new wall and windows. We never dreamt it could look so good. For replacing the ceilings and the scraping and re-plastering of the lounge. The walls now look great including the jazzy lights and we can't wait to get back and paint it.

Myself and my husband brought an old townhouse in Alcaudete last spring. We knew the property was in need of modernisation as it was around 250 years old. After asking around we were given a couple of names of local builders, so we requested some quotes. When we met Andy Heston, we instantly liked him, he was realistic and seemed very open and honest. After 8 months or so of trying to get our electricity reconnected and the leak in our roof fixed we decided we should finally look for an alternative contact for our property in Spain, patient is a virtue apparently but after 8 months, our virtue packed its ruck sack and went to look for a cliff. Whilst on a frantic search of tinterweb we chanced upon Campo construction and dropped them an email. Bloody hell fire! Within days Andy had emailed us, rang us, been up on our roof, sent us a quote, been to get a license and was up on the roof repairing the afore mentioned leak, Diane had been on the phone to the Electricity company had the bill on her desk and booked an appointment with us, the electricity company and the bank to sort out payment and direct debits for when we arrived. We simply wanted to write and tell you how pleased we are with the recent work you have done on the patio of our home. When we asked you to quote and then complete the work we had realised it was a huge job and I guess what people don't see is the work behind the finish. We thought your quote was very fair but that was for the job we thought you would do! What we actually saw on our arrival in September was the most amazing transformation from what had been a very dull but private space, to an interesting space with steps, different levels and planting areas. Clearly the quote could have been significantly higher and I'm sure would have been with all other builders. All of the work has been completed to an exceptionally high standard but we were amazed at the detail and extra added bits (even the tiling under the hard seating area) where you could have cut corners but didn't. Our walls are now beautiful and more importantly safe and perhaps it is only us who can appreciate this and we love the added suggestions you made for extra lighting etc at very small cost. My utility area is something else again and this is yet another transformation that I could never have imagined. It is a lovely space to work now and both this area and the patios were described as 'muy muy bonito' by our Spanish neighbour with much whistling and clapping when he saw it. We enjoyed the space and can't wait to plant it up in the future. Thank you again Andy we are currently saving to have the staircases transformed and the job is definitely yours .We don't need any other quotes.
